Tonga Whales aboard Nai'a

Snorkel with humback whales and have one of the most intimate encounters you can ever imagine with a marine mammal. The last last time I did this trip, we had a three year-old female spend 90 minutes swimming with us. She came up to each diver and made eye contact with the biggest, most expressive eye I have ever seen. We all got out of the water babbling about how priviledged we felt to have such an encounter.
There is no better way to see humpbacks than aboard Nai'a. Having done this for years, they know how to approach the correct whales to have a glorious encounter with a whale that chooses to have the encounter. There is no harrassing of animals. It is a pure, beautiful experience that the whale chooses to have with the people in the water. The captain, cruise directors and crew of Nai'a make this one of the finest, diver-friendly live-a-boards in the world... and we haven't even mentioned the gourmet food!
Add-on the world-renowned Shark Feed at Pacific Harbour on the way through Fiji. Last year, I had 3 different tiger sharks in my two days of diving there, plus bulls and six other species of sharks!
Cost is $4570 + fuel surcharge per person, double occupancy and subject to change. Price includes 9.5 days/10 nights aboard Nai'a, plus airport transfers in Tonga. Space held with a $800 non-refundable deposit.
